Racing across the cosmos in a spiraling Torus, our solar system shares the secrets of the earth, sun, and moon; mother, father, and daughter to Hyperion the ancient Greek Titan god of the universal light. Hyperion is my avatar and I am his driver.
What I plan to do with this blog is share the many stories in Hyperion’s head. He believes that the essence of humanity is found in our emotions, senses, and passions. We strive for two things; food and pleasure. Food is easy although not always good. Pleasure is so fleeting and rare in our modern life that we seek it above all things.
Pain. Pain is our infinite life experience. We are always ripe for pain and can endure it to a point for many years, even savor it as part of our life. Consider how long you would last in happiness, never ceasing. That will not do, will it? No, we are designed for pain and it is in physical, mental, and spiritual pain we find our deepest discoveries, find our greatest wisdom, and look back to see how much we strived to overcome adversity to be here today.
Always remember that the best part of any story is the comment section below. Don’t be afraid. Hyperion accepts all views and debates done with public decorum and devious sense of humor. This is the path to noble living. Let us hear from you.
Let’s build something together.
