Renate seeks closer by revisiting the cave. She is surprised to find the cave blocked by a cave in. David decides it’s time to take their mind off the cave and build a luxury bath house.

David discover’s Renate has a high fever and awakens still in a fever dream. She wonders what was real and what was delusion.

Renate begins to feel and see the vision the Island wishes to reveal. She sees her place among the bearers of the rose-vine tattoo. David is also feeling the changes as the cave transforms around them.

Renate and David experience a vision that connects them to the island and each other throughout history. They see and feel the symbiotic relationship of humans and the island.

Renate and David have reached the final chamber of the cave and it begins to reveal its mysteries and intent to Renate through the connection with the rose-vine tattoo on Renate’s shoulder.

Renate and David enter the second chamber that reveals the island’s place and proximity to the point where the Rose bearers, the island, and the cosmos converge.

Renate begins to sense the connection between the rose-vine tattoo and the island’s summons from the mysterious cave. She and David decide they must go to the cave to find out what is waiting for them in the cave.

Renate and David begin to glaze their pottery when they both notice Renate’s pattern looks like the carvings on the cave mouth and stele. The rose-vine tattoo fully awakens and they feel the pull of the cave.

Renate awakens to the call of the Rose-vine tattoo. Remembering the first encounter with the Monks in The Order of the Rose, she begins to feel the beckoning call of the cave.

Renate and David return to the hut, but both feel the irresistible pull of destiny on the island. They don’t know what it could be. Somehow, the island feels different.
