Renate and David return to the hut, but both feel the irresistible pull of destiny on the island. They don’t know what it could be. Somehow, the island feels different.

Renate and David begin the hunt for colored crystals to grind for pottery glaze. They find a waterfall in the forest upstream from the kiln, as they suspected.

Renate and David begin building. Kiln to make pottery ware for storage and eating. While looking for something to use as glaze in the cave, they find an ancient treasure cache.

Renate and David take on the cave to inventory its contents and put them to use. Civilization is slowly slipping out of them and the island is filling the space.

David and Renate explore the island for a place to build a hut. They come across a cold mountain stream flowing into the valley with clean water. The idea to stay begins to form.
