Renate and David have reached the final chamber of the cave and it begins to reveal its mysteries and intent to Renate through the connection with the rose-vine tattoo on Renate’s shoulder.

Renate and David enter the second chamber that reveals the island’s place and proximity to the point where the Rose bearers, the island, and the cosmos converge.

Renate and David step into the cave and Renate begins to feel the island as if it were a living thing. The carved patterns, her glaze patterns on the pots she painted, and the rose-vine tattoo all seem to line up as the same ancient symbolism. They go deeper and discover much more.

Renate and David set out to explore the cave. They are solemn and reserved, both thinking about what unknown things they will face and hoping they have the courage and skill to see their way through this strange calling from the the monks at the Cathedral of the Order of the Rose.

Renate begins to sense the connection between the rose-vine tattoo and the island’s summons from the mysterious cave. She and David decide they must go to the cave to find out what is waiting for them in the cave.

Renate and David begin to glaze their pottery when they both notice Renate’s pattern looks like the carvings on the cave mouth and stele. The rose-vine tattoo fully awakens and they feel the pull of the cave.
